Home Storage Centers

Home Storage Centers, formally known as “canneries,” are stores where you can buy quality food storage at reasonable prices. Gone are the days where you have to make an appointment at the cannery to work and package your own food. Now all you have to do is find a Home Storage Center near you and purchase what you need.

Click here for a list of all of the LDS Home Storage Centers. Local home storage centers and their current hours are listed below. It’s always a good idea to call the Home Storage Center you want to visit to be sure that their hours haven’t changed. If you can’t make it to an actual Home Storage Center location, you can always order online!

LDS Home Storage Centers offer a variety of products. Products are listed on the Home Storage Center Order Form. Most products are available in #10 cans. Some are available in smaller pouches. A few products are available in bulk.

So, how much food storage do you need? This handy food storage guide can help you know exactly how much your family will need to store to add up to a year’s supply.

President Spencer W. Kimball said, “We encourage families to have on hand a year’s supply; and we say it over and over and repeat over and over the scripture of the Lord where he says, ‘Why call me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?'” (General Conference, April 1974)

Home Storage Centers are a great place to get started with the basics. We encourage you to use this valuable resource to begin building your food storage supply so you can be obedient to the counsel of the prophets and have peace, knowing that you are prepared for whatever may come. Happy shopping!
